hello friends!

did anyone cry during the inauguration? i'll admit, i did. our little one also participated in the festivities by clapping during the entire ceremony. yes, yes -- i know the inauguration was three days ago, but i'm still on a high from it, and i'm excited to see what the next four years will bring.

for those of us who are looking to put a face with a name (or if you simply enjoy looking at photos of people), all of president obama's people are featured here.

speaking of looking at photos of people, the past couple of weeks i've been putting in some late hours for work, and oftentimes i find myself checking the black hole known as facebook to keep me alive (or distracted) during the wee hours of the evening (or morning). i have this love/hate relationship with fb. i don't spend a lot of time updating my own page because, well, i'm lazy, but i find that i get annoyed when others haven't updated their page. it like, "c'mon people! update! share some photos!" never mind that most photos include people i don't know/hardly know. such a double standard, right?
